OUR MISSION
The Retail Networks Development Union (RNDU) operates to ensure the sustainable development of the retail trade sector in the country, improve the business environment, and enhance consumer satisfaction.
Key objectives of the Union:
- To support the improvement of legislation through cooperation with government bodies, the private sector, and international partners;
- To create a competitive and transparent ecosystem in retail trade;
- To provide legal, analytical, and organisational support to its members;
- To contribute to raising food safety and quality standards;
- To study international best practices and implement them at the local level.
The RNDU acts as a catalyst for sectoral development, working to unlock and maximise the potential of its members.

The Union focuses not only on the expansion of retail trade in terms of scale and volume, but also on ensuring the sector’s long-term sustainability.
In this context, our approach is based on the following principles:
- Reducing food waste and strengthening environmental responsibility;
- Enhancing transparency and safety standards across the supply chain;
- Safeguarding the sector’s long-term economic stability and competitive environment;
- Building a sustainable supply chain through cooperation with local producers.
The aim of the RNDU is not only to strengthen today’s retail sector, but also to shape a sustainable and responsible model for future generations.
HISTORY
The Retail Networks Development Union (RNDU) was established in 2020 at the initiative of the country’s leading retail chains.
Since its establishment, the Union has:
- Developed mechanisms for cooperation with government bodies;
- Created working groups to examine systemic issues in retail trade;
- Initiated efforts to study international best practices and apply them locally;
- Provided legal, analytical, and organisational support to its members.
