RNDU signs Protocol of Intent with the Food Retailers Association of Türkiye.

The Retail Networks Development Union, which participated in the 11th Joint Development Congress (11. Ortak Gelişim Kongresi), signed a Protocol of Intent with the Food Retailers Association of Türkiye (GPD) during the event.

The document provides for the expansion of cooperation between the parties in the retail sector, the exchange of knowledge and experience, the establishment of joint working groups, and the organisation of initiatives supporting sectoral development. The signing of the Protocol also creates an important platform for future joint projects and institutional cooperation.

During the event, productive discussions were held with Alp Önder Özpamukçu, Chair of GPD; Özgür Tort, Chief Executive Officer of Migros; Kutay Kartallıoğlu, Chief Executive Officer of CarrefourSA; Merter Özay, Head of Özay Hukuk; Murat Keklik, Head of HMK; and senior representatives of Obase, Hanshow, ÜÇGE and Ülker.

The Food Retailers Association (GPD) is an important organisation representing modern food retail in Türkiye. Its members operate nearly 50,000 retail outlets across the country and collectively employ approximately 500,000 people.
