On 18 March, the Retail Networks Development Union took part in a reception organised and hosted by His Excellency Mr Fergus Auld OBE, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Azerbaijan.

At the event, representatives of the retail sector and entrepreneurs came together and exchanged views on current development trends and cooperation opportunities. The Union's chairman Araz Imanov met with the Ambassador and embassy representatives and discussed the sector's development prospects, as well as cooperation opportunities with British partners, including the British Retail Consortium.

Union representatives also exchanged views with business representatives on the sector's main challenges and potential directions for joint initiatives.
