Araz Imanov, Chairman of the Retail Networks Development Union, gave an extensive interview to the FED.az business and finance news portal.

In the interview, views were shared on the current state of the retail sector, the role of retail networks in the non-oil sector, the impact of rising operational and financial costs on the sector, the commission burden on cashless payments, the importance of local payment solutions such as AZQR, learning from international experience, preserving a healthy competitive environment, and the institutional dialogue conducted with state institutions.

Araz Imanov noted that retail networks are not merely points of sale, but an important part of a large economic ecosystem closely linked with employment, logistics, agriculture, production, technology and services.
