The meeting brought together representatives of companies operating in the retail sector for an exchange of views on the application of labour legislation, legal and practical issues faced by employers, administrative liability mechanisms, and the development of public–private sector cooperation.

Taking into account the operational characteristics of large retail enterprises, the Retail Networks Development Union raised issues encountered by its member companies and presented proposals for addressing them.
